01 · THE PHILOSOPHY

AI, Woven Into the Spine

Every Taxila graduate leaves fluent in working alongside AI, critically evaluating its output, and orchestrating it to solve real business problems - delivered through three structural shifts.

SHIFT_A

Dynamic AI Simulations

Live AI agents drive competitors, demand shocks, and pricing wars in Strategy, Ops & Marketing courses. No two batches face the same environment. No case study goes stale.

SHIFT_B

Institutional AI Co-Pilot

Not generic ChatGPT. A Taxila-trained tutor built on our own curriculum, case archive & grading rubrics - flagging your gaps and delivering adaptive remediation between classes.

SHIFT_C

Mandatory Faculty AI Fluency

No core course is taught by faculty who haven't rebuilt their material with AI tools and cleared an internal AI-fluency certification. Renewed annually.

03 · ASSESSMENT

BYOB Exams
Bring Your Own Bot.

We don't ban AI in exams - we require it. You're graded on the quality of your critical inquiry: how well you question AI output, catch its errors, and improve on its first answer.

  • » Reasoning trail is graded, not raw AI output
  • » Copy-paste answers become immediately visible as weak work
  • » Judgment, iteration & verification are the actual skills tested

// prompt to your bot:

> "Analyse XYZ Ltd's declining margin."

// AI first draft:

"Margin dropped due to raw material cost..."

// your critical inquiry:

"That's incomplete. FX exposure and product mix explain 60% of the delta. Re-run with segment data."

// AI revised output:

"Adjusted analysis: 62% mix, 24% FX..."

04 · TERM 4 HIGHLIGHT

AI Transformation Capstone

Every Term 4 team is paired with a real partner organisation - prioritising MSMEs and corporates around Jaipur & Rajasthan. You graduate with a deployed AI solution, not a slide deck.

  • Audit a genuinely manual workflow inside the partner
  • Design & build a working low-code / no-code AI automation prototype
  • Target a measurable outcome - reduction in processing time or cost
  • Present a deployed solution + stakeholder-facing business case

Frequently Asked Questions

For faculty, students, parents & recruiters trying to understand how AI is being integrated at Taxila.

Q01 Why embed AI across the whole curriculum instead of just adding an AI elective?

Electives only reach students who opt in - widening the gap between AI-fluent and AI-illiterate graduates. Embedding AI as a mandatory spine + default working method inside core courses ensures every Taxila graduate leaves with the same baseline fluency.

Q02 Does this replace subject knowledge (Finance, Marketing, HR, Strategy) with AI training?

No. Functional depth remains the foundation of the PGDM. AI is the lens and tool through which that functional knowledge is taught and applied - it changes how courses are delivered, not what core competencies students must master.

Q03 Why 12 modules of 10 hours each rather than fewer, longer courses?

Ten-hour modules are short enough to update annually as AI tools evolve, and granular enough to slot around the existing core curriculum. Three modules per term keep the AI Spine visible and continuous across all four terms - not front-loaded and forgotten.

Q04 What exactly is the institutional AI Co-Pilot, and how is it different from ChatGPT?

The Co-Pilot is trained on Taxila's own curriculum, case archive, and grading rubrics - it knows what each student has been taught and where their specific gaps are. Generic AI tools remain available for broader use, but the Co-Pilot is the academic backbone.

Q05 How do the Dynamic AI Simulations actually work in the classroom?

In designated Strategy, Operations and Marketing sessions, teams run a simulated company. Competitor pricing, demand shifts and supply disruptions are generated by AI agents that respond to each team's decisions in real time - so the business environment evolves differently for every cohort and every decision point.

Q06 What is the BYOB (Bring Your Own Bot) exam format, and how is integrity maintained?

BYOB exams require AI use and grade students on the quality of their critical inquiry: how well they question AI output, catch its errors, and improve on its first answer. Integrity is maintained by grading the reasoning trail and final judgment, not the raw AI output - which makes copy-pasted answers immediately visible as weak work.

Q07 How is faculty trained, and what happens if a faculty member isn't AI-fluent?

Faculty must complete an internal AI-fluency certification - demonstrating they have rebuilt their own material using AI tools - before being assigned to teach a core course that term. Certification renews annually. Non-certified faculty are paired with mentors through a defined remediation period.

Q08 How is this different from what IIMs and other top schools are already doing?

Most leading programs treat AI as a concentration or set of electives layered onto an unchanged curriculum. Taxila's approach makes AI fluency a mandatory 4-term spine combined with AI-native BYOB assessment and a live deployment capstone - a combination very few programs currently require of every graduate.

Q09 Does the AI Transformation Capstone replace the traditional summer internship?

The capstone is a mandatory addition alongside the existing internship structure - giving students both real industry exposure and a deployed AI artefact for their portfolio.

Q10 What is the expected impact on placements?

Students graduate with demonstrable, deployed AI work - plus fluency in agentic workflow design, AI ROI evaluation and AI governance. These are the specific skills recruiters are actively hiring for in 2026 - Taxila's clearest point of differentiation.
