IMPORTANCE OF BEING HEALTHY

There are three parameters of being healthy:

  • 80% Intake Of Nutrition
  • Consuming good enough amount of Water
  • Calories intake.
  • Do you know about the rule of 80-20%?

    It includes 80% Nutrition and 20% Exercise. It is very important to understand the role of major part i.e. 80%. This rule is only applied in the weight management goal. 80% Nutrition intake in our daily life basis is compulsory to keep ourselves healthy fit.

    The 80% nutrition includes majorly intake the quantity of Fiber, Protein, Carbohydrates, good Fat, Vitamins and Minerals.

    • Fiber: Fiber plays an important role in weight loss fanatic. It helps in indigestion and constipation. The Quantity of Fiber on the daily basis includes at least 21 to 25 grams of fiber for women whereas 30 t 38 grams for men a day. Some of the foods include high fiber is Beans, Broccoli, Apples, Whole grains, fried fruits etc.
    • Protein: Protein serves as a fuel source. It is found throughout in the Body- muscles, bone, skin, hair and every other body part or tissue. It helps to keep away from hunger and helps in building muscles and weight loss. Protein intake ratio is same as what weight you have. Like an Example, if your weight is 55kg so the intake of protein per day is 55 grams. The high protein includes eggs, paneer, dairy products, lentils etc.
    • Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates or carbs are sugar molecules. Like Fiber and protein it is one of the main nutrients found in food. It is main source of energy for living beings. People consume between 45-65% of their calories in the form of carbs per day. There are many factors like body weight, physical activities and blood sugar levels. FDA recommends that each day in a 275 gram of carbs should be consumed. The healthy food sources of carbs are beans and legumes, fruits, whole grain products and majorly vegetables.
    • Fat: A balanced diet should include healthy fat in our daily lives. The DRI Suggest that in adults 20% to 35% of total calories from are from consumption of fat. Some of the best sources are Avocados, olive oil, nuts and seeds etc.
    • Vitamins and Minerals: Vitamins and minerals are nutrients that your body needs in a small amount to work properly and stay healthy. People generally do not take all vitamins and minerals in their daily basis. There are good supplements which fulfill the need of these nutrients.
  • Consuming good enough amount of water keeps your body hydrated and cools throughout the day as a part of your body’s temperature regulating system. Water carries nutrients to all cells in our body. The intake of water per day is the ratio of 1 litre equal to 20 kg weight i.e. if a person is 60 kg then he should drink 3 litre of water daily.
  • Calories are a unit of measurement of energy. It is the energy released when the body breaks down food. Daily intake of calories depending on age, metabolism and your percentage of physical activity. But generally it recommended daily calorie intake is 2000 for women and 2500 for men in a day.

CONCLUSION: In our day-to-day life it is important to keep ourselves healthy and fit by taking right amount nutrition and exercise. There are many parameters in the body check-up like body weight, VFA, BMI, Body age, Resting Metabolism and Muscle mass for maintain a body figure with healthy nutritious diet.
