Dr. Kamal Kishore Sharma is an MBA and Fellow (Ph.D.) of IIM Ahmedabad. In a rich corporate career span, he has worked with a PSU (SAIL), Indian Civil Services (IRTS), MNC subsidiary (ArcelorMittal Subsidiary), University & Startups. He started as a Management Trainee and rose in corporate career to an MD & CEO at an MNC. In the education space he taught (Professor) & then led (Dean, Vice Chancellor, Director) educational institutions. As a freelancer and an entrepreneur, he consulted, advised, co-founded and held directorships in multiple Startups.

During his IIM Ahmedabad days, Dr. Sharma has worked with Stanford University, United Nations Environment Program & Government of India across several consulting & training projects. He was a member of the founding team at the Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management where he also set up the International Centre for Excellence in Surface & Air Transport. His interest areas lie in Strategy, Corporate Governance, Leadership and Entrepreneurship. He has taught at Executive Education at various IIMs and reputed National Institutions and is fond of using Simulations (experiential learning). He actively contributes to the startup ecosystem in the social impact domains of education, water and agriculture. As a prolific and impactful motivational speaker, one could often find him delivering webinars, talks & keynote speeches. He also founded an NGO “Saksham” to work with rural education.
