Prof. Kamal Kishore Sharma

Dr. Kamal Kishore Sharma is an MBA and Fellow (Ph.D.) of IIM Ahmedabad. In a rich corporate career span, he has worked with PSU (SAIL), Indian Civil Services (IRTS), and an MNC subsidiary (ArcelorMittal Subsidiary), University & Startups. He started as a Management Trainee and rose in the corporate career to an MD & CEO at an MNC.

In the education space, he taught (Professor) and then led (Dean, Vice Chancellor, Director) educational institutions. As a freelancer and entrepreneur, he consulted, advised, co-founded, and held directorships in multiple startups.

During his IIM Ahmedabad days, Dr. Sharma has worked with Stanford University, United Nations Environment Program, and the Government of India across several consulting & training projects. He was a member of the founding team at the Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management, where he also set up the International Centre for Excellence in Surface & Air Transport.

His interest areas lie in Strategy, Corporate Governance, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship. He has taught Executive Education at various IIMs and reputed national institutions and is fond of using simulations (experiential learning).

He actively contributes to the startup ecosystem in the social impact domains of education, water, and agriculture. As a prolific and impactful motivational speaker, one can often find him delivering webinars, talks, and keynote speeches. He also founded an NGO “Saksham” to work with rural education.
