Course Overview
Faculty : Dr. Alka Jain (Ph.D. MBA)
In a complex world of industry and business, organizational efficiency is largely
dependent on the contribution made by the human resources of the organization.
To become a successful manager of people, students need to understand behaviour
of human resources in various organizational situations because Human resource
management deals with the most important resource of an organization- the living
part of it- human beings.
An HR management system has to keep a balance between employee welfare and
company cost control. In the modern era, managers are concerned at the
exploitation of the labor in factories and their working conditions. The thought of a
balance between company discipline, cost effectiveness and employee’s mental
health, physical health and personal living standards has already been initiated by
HR experts.
Human Resource management is a central function of any organization. HR management can be defined as the effective use of human capital in an organization through the management of people-related activities.
