Recruitment Process at Taxila
The Four-Step Placement Process
Step 1: Submission of Interest
Invitations are sent to companies based on sector-wise and specialization-wise interest of the students with all relevant information. Companies intending to visit Taxila Business School also contacts the Training and Placement Office with details about Job Profile and student profiles required.
Step 2: Pre-placement talk (PPT)
PPT provides an opportunity to the recruiting company and the students to interact with each other. The presentation by the company is in general regarding the history, growth potential, future opportunities, job profile, compensation package and location. Companies are encouraged to send soft copy of their PPTs and Job Profile which are uploaded on the internal site available to the students.
Pre-Placement Talk by a company is scheduled on a mutually convenient date during November January, which helps students to take an informed deciding companies matching their area of interest and expertise. Details of interested students are also shared with companies from which the company is required to shortlist candidates based on various eligibility criteria and send the same with short listed candidates to the Placement Office at the earliest.
Step 3: Selection and Shortlisting of Companies
After the PPTs a selected list of companies are invited for participation in the Final Placement Process on the basis of the following key parameters:
- Corporate Profile
- Job Profile offered and future growth opportunities
- Compensation Structure
At this stage the selected Companies are also required to inform the Training and Placement Office about their recruitment procedure, which includes information on Aptitude Tests, Group Discussion, Number of rounds, etc.
Step 4: Conducting the Final Selection Process
The Final Placement Week is generally scheduled during the first or second week of February every year. The companies visit the campus on the mutually agreed date during the week and conducts their selection process, after which the companies are expected to furnish the final list of selected students either on the same day or within the next five working days.
