From the Alumni- Journey at Taxila

Being an alumnus of Taxila Business School, it now gives me immense pleasure to share my journey of the two years of rigorous learning and enjoyment. As we have recently completed our post-graduation from this prestigious institute, I believe I stand in a position where there is a lot which can be shared. Starting with how it started so everyone would be aware of the hustle when you need to decide a college which can enhance your skills and can channelise your talent and there I saw this college with high rankings, great reviews and on coming down to institute I found it to be my ideal college.

About two years ago, when I left my hometown for higher studies and to step in the institute, I was too anxious about how I will adjust in a new place.But I would like to mention, that the college staff was very warm and welcoming and made me feel at home.

As most of the people are aware that Taxila holds classes for almost 12 hours a day, this uniqueness has contributed in making our corporate lives a cake walk, as we do not get exhausted by the long working hours.All the faculties are extremely knowledgeable and experienced, thus making every lecture remarkably interesting and insightful. Not only did we work upon our theoretical knowledge but had an ‘equal exposure’ to the practical experiences and got guidance from the people who are excelling in the industry.

It is rightly said that one can learn a lot from the people around and thus peer learning played an important role in my growth at Taxila, with friends from diverse background having varied ideologies, that gave me a wider look towards the world and at the same time. The seniors were ever supporting and encouraging, but that was not all, we had the access to the best facilities and had the opportunity to attend seminars over various topics and had workshops which helped us in our overall development.

As we know, at times it happens that we have to also face difficulties and one such time is the Covid pandemic, but I feel extremely proud to share that our college administration has been successful in overcoming this as well through online classes and courses that bring to us global knowledge and provide us an opportunity to learn from acknowledged professors residing in different corners of the country.

Ultimately, at the time of placements we were given special assistance to get through some of the reputed organizations for kick-starting our careers. And so I would say that my journey at Taxila Business School has been a memorable one which I will cherish forever.
