It is not over, till it is over

It is not over till it is over

It is said that life is not a smooth path, ups and downs are part and parcel of life. When we are happy, we wish that these moments should be the longest one and should never disappear and when we are sad we wish those moments to be short lived. But it rarely happens the way we dream and desire. More often things may take place contrary to our expectations. So, the issue is how to pull over when nothing is favourable or when no hope is visible and gloom n despair take over the spirit of hope.

There is a story about the Hebrew King Solomon who had a ring which said in unminced words, “This too shall pass.” No wonder he is regarded as the smartest man in history!

Hold on your breath! Hold on to your courage!!

Have patience because these crises have made you much more mature, sensible and to accept even unfair terms. It can therefore be opined that if we are able to hold ourselves during the weak and worst phases, surely we are going to bounce back. Don’t give up, don’t feel isolated, don’t feel down because it is the darkest before the dawn - the dawn of hope and bright expectation.

As a students you may have crises, you may have problem to be resolved, you are trying for good placements:

  • Don’t want to miss the opportunity
  • Turnover not exceeding INR 25 crore in any preceding financial year.
  • The second opportunity is not coming forth
  • Seems to be impossible nevertheless hold on to yourself

Because you did the best, you are the best, you have a good education and good orientation. ‘Mark’ these words, keep them alive because “It is not over, till it is over”. You have your near and dear friends without whom you did not think about your life. But even if they part away due to one reason or another sometimes because of unexplained reasons, nevertheless keep moving on and on because it is your life.

  • Start loving yourself, be your own favorite
  • Let’s not regret what has gone out, let’s not regret what is lost
  • Conserve and preserve what is left.
  • Let’s not bother in the life about this spilled milk,
  • Let’s be careful about what is now in your hands.

Life is absolutely a mystery that is not to be resolved but to live in. Face every occasion or situation whether you like or don’t like, trust me in life we do not have all the occasions of our choice, we do not have all the occasions of our dislikes, we have to swim between great liking and great disliking.

However, who survives is the one who understands what is today before tomorrow. So, when everything is infernal, short-lived, let us not carry with this short-term phenomenon. How do you look in a long-term manner because life is not a short-term proposition, life is all about long-term prepositions. And in life you have seen several examples where their start has not been good, the start has not been decent, the start has not been magnificent, however, they had the last laugh, the last victory in their sight because they are confident that tomorrow belongs to them. For that

  • You need to capitalize on your strength.
  • You need to capitalize today.
  • You need to make the best of the available opportunities that convert every crisis into a good opportunity.
  • Try to look beyond what appears to be on the surface if not reality.

Reality is as much what we believe as things really are on the surface. So, don’t give up, don’t feel frustrated, let one opportunity go because whatever is gone with the past has yet to come. Issue is “Are you ready for the best opportunity which is yet to come?” But most of us are preoccupied with the past and therefore opportunities leave out of fear, out of your mind.

I would like to conclude with the saying from the famous stoic philosopher, Seneca,"Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack."

Rightly said “ it is not over, till it is over”. Keep playing till the last whistle is blown because you deserve the best.
