Are leaders born or are they made?
The answer to both the above-mentioned questions is Yes. Some people are born with the qualities possessed by a great leader like naturally charismatic, influential, and talent to inspire people. However, it does not necessarily mean that a person with no such inborn qualities cannot be a great leader. By providing more opportunities to capitalize and grooming, one can become a good leader.
All leaders, born or made, can improve their ability by inculcating more knowledge and experience which leads to the acquisition of wisdom as there is always room for growth.
We all have seen people leading their paths while guiding others on their paths since childhood. They were class presidents, team captains, club leaders, and the people who held virtually all the available leadership positions you can imagine early in life. On the other hand, we all know many people who are not gifted with this quality since birth but can acquire these skills with continuous efforts and dedication. It is said that one can achieve everything if one is determined and is ready to put forth the efforts required.
It is not about if a leader is born or made, what matters is if they possess such skills or not and are they willing to use their skills while leading others.
Keep in mind, there is no ideal chief, no single right way of driving, and nobody's size-fits-all equation for an initiative. So, we better help them in becoming great leaders by providing nourishment in the form of opportunities and assistance.
Most successful leaders are the ones who do not give up irrespective of possessing natural talents. Any successful leader’s one common trait is they care. They care about their colleagues, friends, family, company and many more. Leaders succeed once they stop taking their talents for granted and start developing them.
