- Do thorough research on the products of the company from the beginning and try to find out how many products have success and why others could not see the light of the day, this is important to know about the new launches and to know their case study. This can be done by meeting some old dealers or C&F agents of the company.
- Start revising concepts you have read in your books like strategic marketing, 4 P’s of Marketing, Marketing Communication, Consumer Behaviour, and Digital Marketing and so on. This is very important to demonstrate the application and link these concepts with the company products. Most marketing jobs start with sales. Be clear on sales and distribution concepts and their application.
