Objective: To provide real life exposure to PGDM students of Taxila Business School

Industrial visit is an important part of the management curriculum. Management studies are incomplete without real hands on experience. It helps to bridge the gap between classroom and the real working world. The visit also provides first-hand knowledge about the organizational structures and modes of operation in different industries. The objective of this visit was to provide real life exposure to PGDM students of Taxila Business School about knowledge of business systems and their automation by applying it. With this vision in mind, Industrial Visit was planned by Taxila Business School to Bhilwara famous as the 'city of textiles and looms' on 30th April, 2022.

The journey started at 6 am on Saturday and reached to our first industrial destination, Nitin spinners –Yarn spinning mills at 11:30am. Students learned the whole process of spinning, packing and logistics. The practical perspective of the work place is explained by live training by deputy HR manager of Nitin Spinners.

The second destination was Kanchan India Limited which is one of the leading, modernized, and composite textile unit, where students learned the process of spinning, weaving ,dying, and rolling of denims and recycle polyester fiber . This company makes more than 25 types of jeans .The tour ended with dinner and small visit to Ajmer. Students were delighted to visit textile companies as they created wonderful memories to learn and cherish.
